ConceptSpaces in a house are often defined by it’s floor. Going for example from the bathroom (tiles) to the bedroom (carpet) and then to the living room (parquet). Invisible through a door we enter different environments and atmospheres.
The sill is the element which connects this spaces in our environments. Lifting the sill up and adding two moveable stair elements introduces you differently to the next room. Taking the process of taking stairs to the next room emphasizes the perception of the new environment.

CouchEvery human being differs in certain characteristics. To know our own identity you have to start comparing yourself. One of these obvious characteristics is height.
Combining height and weight through a mechanical process by air shifts the perception.
The more you weight the lower you sit in comparison to the two other people sitting on one of the three places. Two persons sitting on it would form a table together, one a bigger table.
An average three person family would sit all I the same head height.
